From Her Eyes

A/N: Yes! I've finally come up with an idea for an Off*Beat oneshot! XD I didn't wanna do a chapter story 'cause I'm already working on quite a few of those… So if you're a fan of my Fruits Basket stories, I'm just taking a little break from that fandom. After this, I'll get right back to the stories.

My Ouran stories, 'Two Minus One Plus One' and 'Welcome to the Ouran Hostess Club!', will probably be on hiatus for awhile because I've sorta lost interest in them and like I said before, I'm busy with my other chapter stories. So if you're a fan of either of those, I'm sorry to disappoint you.

So without further ado, may I present you 'From Her Eyes'!

Disclaimer: Off*Beat isn't mine. It belongs to the ever-awesome Jen Lee Quick.

From Her Eyes

Mandy Townslan had known it all along.

She was one of the many students at St. Peters who knew that whenever they did as much as talk to Colin Stephens, he'd brush them away like an annoying mosquito. He was a distant, raven-haired, olive-skinned boy who hardly showed up at school or participated in gym. And as if that weren't enough, there was an inevitable air of mystery about him.

However, when one Tory Blake entered the picture, everything had changed.

He was an auburn-haired, cynical genius who was simply, well, a master of Physics and happy to tutor. Mandy had to admit that he was kinda cute, with his bright green eyes and the freckles sprinkled across his pale complexion. But, he was the kid who had that magic touch to bring Colin Stephens out of his shell.

Mandy didn't know how he did it. Maybe it was defending him when that bastard Jeremy pushed him into the lockers, or probably his knowledge of physics that made him realise he just had to keep his grades up. But either way, not long after Tory had arrived at St. Peters, he and Colin were, well, inseperable.

Despite still being rather cold to everyone else, Colin was forever sending Tory sweet smiles and having casual conversations with him. In fact, they even ate lunch together and studied in one corner of the library. Hell, the ebony-haired boy had even warmed up to Mandy a little.

But here was the thing. Mandy was absolutely positive that deep inside, each of the newly acquainted boys wanted to be more than friends.

Whenever Tory was near Colin, or he talked to Mandy about him, his pale face would become cherry-red, clashing hideously with his coppery hair. And whenever Colin was near Tory, a faint tinge of pink would arise on his tanned cheeks. And neither of them knew it, but Mandy had even seen them holding hands at the park as she walked home from her friends' house.

She didn't mind, oh she didn't mind a bit. In fact, she was really happy for the duo. She didn't know when they'd come out to it, but she hoped they would soon. Hell, maybe she could help speed things along…
