A small waste of webspace in which I submit to the public the results of watching Gundam SEED DESTINY a bit to much...

ORB: Nation of Fangirls

By: Phantom of Insanity

ORB is a nation of fangirls. At first, you may disagree. But many endless nights of watching explosions has finally arranged evidence that shows the truth of this independent land.

To start off, you must take at look at one of the most insignificant details of ORB. It isn't uncommon to see a large television screen plastered on the side of ORB's buildings. During crisis, there will be an anchor man undoubtedly updating the public with safety warnings or evacuation notices. But in times of calm and peace, we will find Subject A. He is a common sight to those who look carefully at every episode. With long, swishy hair, sparkles, and a girlish figure, he is the prime example of a bishounen. Thus, he has been codenamed 'Bishie on TV'.

ORB also finds itself a home to an array of particulars, some with angsty pasts, some who are forced to go against their parents' ideals, and even one who has slaughtered many people against his will only to end up raising a group of orphans by the coast with a famous singer from a nation that ORB is at war with. This would bring us to Subject B, Codename: Kira Yamato. Some may consider him to also be one of the so-called 'bishounen'. Others call him an angsty teen crybaby.

Subject B leads us to Subject C, Codename: Athrun Zala. Also consided a 'bishounen', one could even call him a super-duper all in one pack of Ramen. Not only does he have a large fanbase and a girlfriend, but an angsty past where he was forced to fight his best friend, see his father die, and go against the ideals his father set before him. Don't forget to throw in how his fiancee nearly married a power-hungry Elvis clone. Boy, is his life jacked up.

This could also factor into Subject D, Codename: Athrun/Cagalli. Isn't it just ORB's luck to pay homage to two of the biggest pairings in the whole Gundam Seed fandom? Many Athrun/Cagalli fangirls have drooled themselves silly during every AsuCaga moment in Gundam SEED DESTINY. Naturally, the Kira/Lacus fandom had their wishes fufilled at the end of Gundam SEED.

This concludes this small tirade in which our three pieces of evidence are explained. ORB is home to the four of the main characters in this series. Where you can constantly find Athrun/Cagalli moments, bishounen, and explosions, any fangirl can find their home. It makes it easy to believe that the whole female population consists of nothing but fangirls. In short, bishounen must always be wary there. Their will always be some kind of freak stalker who digs through the garbage can just to save that gum you just threw away.

Author's Notes: This is kinda the idea I based a bunch of drabbles I've thought up. That this will be continued is depending on my laziness scale. Overall, I planned on this to sound intelligent instead of humorous. But the idea still seems funny to me --;;. I guess I'm also one of those insane fangirls there on ORB...

Just for the record, I've only seen Gundam SEED DESTINY and a little of SEED itself. So yeah. That's my little blurb of the day. All criticism appreciated because I have no idea howgood my writing is...
