Dress as if You Are to Meet Your Beloved

''

Arisato Minato gets up from his seat, arranging his papers inside his bag with a tired huff. The theater room is already empty with the lamp turned off, him being the only student left, even the teachers have already gone out. The blue-haired boy is about to follow the others—being locked in a creepy hall isn't in his to-do list—when he abruptly skids to a halt.

There is another girl sitting weirdly calm on her seat, head low as if she was in deep thought. Ah, she is asleep.

He wonders whether he should wake her up or not, since he doesn't recognize that short brown hair from his old high school. It would be awkward to disturb someone who was probably so bored that she went to meet the Sandman even in an entrance exam to college.

Suddenly, a rather hoarse voice brings him up from staring at the girl's serene face, "Oi, kid, you gonna out or not? I'm closing the doors!" It is the school guard, or security.

Flinching, he replies in hushed affirmation before venturing up the stairs. What becomes of that girl isn't his problem, it's her fault for falling asleep in the first place. Just because he is the last one going, doesn't mean he has to take responsibility of some random person's fate.

Yeah, that's him, a misanthropic jerk with a heart of shit.

That actually doesn't sound too nice.

He sighs and stops a distance before the door, gaining an exasperated groan from the school keeper complaining about how he wants to just get home as soon as possible. Minato musters an apology and says that he left his lead pencil on his sitting place. Another groan from the older man, "Fine, but make it fast."

"Yes, sir," he bows a bit before scurrying to where the sleeping girl is. The blue-haired male calls to her, but the brunette won't wake up. A little louder this time, yet only managing to make her stir. He facepalms hard.

A reminder knock on the door. "Kid, come on, my wife's waiting at home, ya know?"

"S-Sorry, it got stuck between the seats!" He lies, before quickly tapping the girl's shoulder. "Hey, hey, wake up."

She only stirs.

Double facepalms. "Wake up, or we're gonna get locked!"

"Urrmmmph…" she mumbles, trying to stay unconscious.

Not gonna happen. He shakes her shoulders. "The test is over, they are locking the doors. Come on!"

Then, the brunette finally opens her eyes. As a university student wannabe, he knows that this will be cliché as heck saying this, but her eyes are beautiful, even when the darkness of the room makes the rest of her face nearly invisible. He doesn't realize how long has he been trying to burn holes into the girl's brown orbs, until he hears the sound of hinge grinding. "No, sir! Please wait!"

"Sorry, kid, my wife's a scary woman!" The school guard guiltily admits, closing the doors. "Good luck!" And locking them.

Sixty-seven seconds of awkward silence later, a questioning look from the female in front of him causes him to curse under his breath. He takes out his phone and called someone, only to have a bad signal screen mocking him. He turns on the flashlight feature and somewhat puts it to her face, blinding her.

The girl instinctively lifts her hands to cover the ridiculous light. "Oww, knock it off!" she croaks with a sleep-induced voice. Minato sees her notebook and her name on the upper right corner of it.

Takeba Yukari.

When the blue-haired male turns it off and laments his bad luck inwardly, he is faced with those irritating chocolate eyes registering his presence. Yukari looks around in confusion. "Uhh… where are the others?"

The darkness sure doesn't help.

''

It should end here, but... to be continued? As always, the randomness exists.

So, any thought?
