To Tell or Not to Tell

100 word drabble set right at the end of the series.
(A cute little bunny sat right in front of me today and this drabble came out. These bunnies have been very rare of late, so this was a pleasant surprise. LOL)
The time was right.
He was alone with his father.
His father had seen him fight,
with skills he had not shown before.
His father had suspicions, of that he was sure.
The time was right.
His father was waiting,
for an answer to the question.
The question he should have answered long ago.
An answer which should have been easy.
The time was right.
To put aside his fears.
To tell the truth,
and begin a new life.
A life without lies.
The time was right.
To tell or not to tell.
Can he, should he?
Yes, he must.
