Teardrops on my robes
"Hey Lilly can I talk to you?" Sirius asked. She looked up at him quizzically. She was probably wondering why he wasn't talking to James.
"O-K?" She said slowly and followed him to an empty classroom.
"I have to talk to someone, but I can't talk to James." He said. He could tell he'd piqued her interest. Then he saw her eyes widen as she caught sight of the damp spots on his robes.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"Jane looks at me, and I fake a smile so she won't see." Sirius said, "I want and I need everything that we should be."

"Remus." Jane said coming into the boys dormitory. Remus was sitting by himself.
"Yeah Jane?" She'd been his best friend since they were six. She was like a sister to him.
"Evidently Sirius has got a new girl." She said conversationally.
"Why do you care? Aren't you dating that seventh year?" Remus asked.
"We broke up almost a month ago." She said shrugging, "I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about." Jane said.

"And he's got everything that I'll have to live without." Sirius said to Lilly.

"Why've you been pretending to still be with him?" Remus asked.
"I didn't want Sirius to know." She said sheepishly.
"Why?" Jane was a confusing person.
ﻚﻚﻚ
"Sirius." He could hear the pity in her voice.
"Jane talks to me." He said, "I laugh cause it's so damn funny, that I can't even see anyone when she's with me."
"Why don't you tell her?" Lilly asked.
"She says she's so in love, and she's finally got it right." He said slumping in a chair.
"I wonder if she knows." Lilly said.
"She's all I think about at night." He said ruefully as a single tear dripped down into his robes. "And she's the reason for the teardrops on my robes."

"Remus, he's the only thing that keeps me wishing on that wishing star." She said leaning her head against a bed post.
"Then tell him." Remus said exasperated.
"I don't want him to be the song in the room that I keep singing and I don't know why I do." She said looking at him.
"You've liked him forever!" Remus said rolling his eyes. She could be frustrating at times.
Jane walked out of the room and passed Sirius walking with Lilly out of an empty class room. She started to pause, and then kept on walking.
"Jane walks by me." Sirius said to Lilly as he watched Jane walk away. "Does she know that I can't breathe?"
"NO! Because you won't tell her." Lilly said rolling her eyes. He was such and emo idiot.
"There she goes so perfectly, the kind of flawless I wish I could be." Sirius said. "He'd better hold her tight and give her all his love. Look into her beautiful eyes, and know he's lucky cause, she's the reason for the teardrops on my robes."

I'll just fly home, and turn out the lights. Jane thought as she flew to the girls dorm window. I'll put his picture down and try to get some sleep tonight.
"Jane?" Lilly asked as she came upstairs.
"Hey Lills." Jane said trying not to let her see her tears.
"Is it about Sirius?" Lilly asked.
"He's the reason for the teardrops on my robes. He's the only one who has enough of me to break my heart." She said flopping back into the pillow.
ﻚﻚﻚ
"Hey Remus." Sirius said.
"If your going to whine about Jane just get it over with." He said not even looking up from his homework.
"She's the song I keep singing and don't know why I do." Sirius whined "She's the time taken up but there's never enough."
"Go tell her!" Remus shouted, "I want to get my work done!"
Sirius left…quickly.

Jane walked down stairs. She'd just reached the common room when Sirius crashed into her.
"What's wrong Sirius?" She asked helping him catch his balance.
"You're all that I need to fall into!" He blurted. Jane was shocked, then she softened.
"You look at me, I fake a smile so you won't see." They said together with a smile Sirius leaned in and kissed her.
