(Mystery Shack Roof)

The lumberjack teenager worker of the Mystery Shack, Wendy, was enjoying her soda at the top of the roof, watching the sunset as she waited for her break to end and return to work, although she didn't really care. She immediately thought either Dipper or Mabel arrived when she heard somebody arriving, only to be shocked when she saw that Soos was the one who had arrived.

"Oh, Soos. It's quite a surprise to see you here." remarked the teenager.

The man-child simply sat down and watched the sunset with the teenager, who took a sip of her soda. A good 5 minutes passed with nothing but dead silence, with the very few attempts at trying to start a conversation quickly resolved or leading to nowhere.

Finally, after another minute, Wendy was the one to break the silence. "You know something, Soos? We never have any time to talk together at the shack during work hours." the teenager glanced between her cup and Soos before she resumed, "Let's take this time to do just that, okay? You first."

As hard as Soos tried, he simply couldn't think of anything to say, looking down with a sad look when he finally gave up. Wendy, noticing this, patted the man child's back and gave him a reassuring look.

"Got nothing? I have been speechless sometimes before, so I understand." Wendy sighed, shaking her head before getting an idea, "Okay, let's do this: I'll go first and you second, so that you have more time to think of what to say. Is that good with you?"

Soos simply nodded in response, not even looking at the girl. "Okay then, Soos: you're one of the best friends the twins could have." stated Wendy in a sincere tone.

The instant he heard those words being uttered, Soos instantly turned to the teenager with a shocked look. "You...really believe that?" was all he could utter, the teenage lumberjack happily nodding in response.

"Of course, and I have more than enough reasons to believe so. I was even thinking about making a list, but I ended up not doing it due to my laziness, though the fact there were so many probably had something to do with it." the teenager laughed before she continued, "Look Soos, you have done a lot for them: you drove and accompanied them to find the Gobblewonker, when the Summerween Trickster nearly killed them you saved their lives by eating him, among many other things."

"How did you-"

"Do you really think you're the only one in the shack who's smarter than most people would believe? What I want you to understand, Soos, is that you're a pretty valuable ally to the twins and, being honest, I might be a bit jealous about it."

Playfully hitting his shoulder, Wendy and Soos laughed together once the teenager had finished, the two looking at their watches and seeing that their break time was over. Just as Soos got ready to leave, though...

"Hold it right there, Soos." obeying, Soos stopped while Wendy got up and walked to him. The teenager then went to the man, whistled to get his attention and turn around and reached for her pocket, "Before you leave..."

From her pocket the teenage girl took out a camera, one that looked like the ones used by Dipper, Mabel and Soos when they went after the Gobblewonker. "How about a photo, so we can remember this moment?"

"...Sure."

With that said, the two posed for the picture Wendy took immediately, their goofy faces managing to get a good laugh out of them. "This is a pretty good one." glancing at the man and the photo, Wendy turned to him and handed him the photo with a sincere smile, "You keep it, Soos, I insist."

The man-child grabbed the photo without hesitation, getting caught off guard when the teenager gave him a tight hug. After processing what just happened, Soos returned the hug, the two separating shortly afterwards with Soos going back to work, shortly followed by Wendy.
