Percy P.O.V.

It was the first snow storm of the year. Annabeth and I were sitting in my cabin drinking hot chocolate. She was telling me about some blue prints she made and I was zoning out as usual. Suddenly I had an idea. "Annabeth, grab your coat."

"Why? Where are we going?" she asked with a very confused look on her face. "It's a surprise" As soon as she ready I grab her arm and practically drag her out the door. "This better be worth going out in the cold Seaweed Brain." She says in a tone that sounds like she will rip me to pieces if this is for something stupid. "Trust me it will be." I say flashing her a smile. I spend the rest of the way there praying to my dad and Aphrodite that this works. We arrive at a steep hill covered in snow. "Percy what are we doing?" The confusion in her voice is back. "Sledding." I say as I pick her up piggyback style and run up the hill. "Aaaah! Percy be careful!"

"I will, I will." We reach the top and I set her down. "Seaweed Brain, how exactly do you expect us to go sledding without a sled?" I put my hand over the snow in front of me and will it to form a sled. Slowly the snow pack together into one of those saucer like sleds. "Impressive" She says with a smile. I sit down with me legs crossed and pull her down onto my lap. "Are you ready for the ride of your life Wise Girl?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." With that I give us a push and we go flying down the hill. We reach the bottom, I pick up the sled, and we climb back to the top. We reach the bottom for 17th time when Annabeth says, "Percy I am getting cold do you mind if we head back?"

"Not at all but we need to stop somewhere on the way back." She nods, "Okay, but can we hurry."

"Yeah it shouldn't take long." I put my arm over her shoulder and lead her to the beach. We got down to the edge of the water. "Percy what are we-" I grab her around the wait and jump into the lake. I create a bubble around us so the cold water doesn't get to us. I look into her eyes still filled with surprise and ten I kissed her. Eventually she pulled away. "I love you Percy" "I love you, too Annabeth." We decide we better head back now so we don't miss dinner. We walk back holding hands as the snow slowly drifts down.
