Astrid and Hiccup walked into the Great Hall hand in hand. Everyone smiled at the sweethearts as they walked in.
The couple sat at a table and started to talk to their friends.
"What's up lovebirds?" asked Ruffnut
Astrid rolled her eyes, she hated when people called them that "Just because we've been dating for two years doesn't make us lovebirds…" she stated
Ruff rolled her eyes "Whatever…"
"Milady's right…" said Hiccup
Astrid looked at her boyfriend "Hey Hiccup?"
"Yeah Milady?"
"Why do you call me 'Milady'?" asked Astrid
"Uh…" Said Hiccup as his friends stared at him "Because… uh… I don't know. I've always called you that, and now, after two years, you ask?"
"Well… why do you get to call me a nickname and I can't?" Astrid asked
"I never said you can't…" started Hiccup
"Really? Why Hiccup!? Why can't I have a nickname for you?"
"Awkward…" whispered Snotlout
"Because I'm the guy!"
Astrid set her jaw and stared at her boyfriend "Barely!"
His friends started to laugh and Hiccup stared them down.
"Wow… you've been hanging with Astrid too much, you've that glare down!" said Tuffnut
Hiccup rolled his eyes and looked back at his girlfriend "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked
"Oh come on Hiccup… you're barely a man…"
"Are you just saying that because you're pissed that you don't have a nickname for me?"
"I can't believe you would think that! Screw you!" Astrid slapped him across the face and ran out of the Great Hall.
Hiccup looked at his friends, who were looking back at him.
"Yeah, yeah, I know 'Wow Hiccup, I can't believe how badly you screwed up' well… shut up…" Hiccup groaned and ran after Astrid
"Well… that wasn't awkward at all…" whispered Fishlegs
When Hiccup found his girlfriend, he saw her with her head in her knees, arms wrapped around her legs.
"Hey Mi… Astrid…" Hiccup corrected
"You called me Astrid…" She whispered "Are you breaking up with me?"
Hiccup laughed and sat next to her "No, I'm not breaking up with you…" Astrid smiled and grabbed his hand
"I'm sorry I got mad at you today… I guess I was a little upset that I haven't thought of a nickname for you…"
Hiccup sighed "Just because we're dating doesn't mean you have to have a nickname for the person. I call you 'Milady' because I want everyone to know that you're mine…"
Astrid smiled at him and kissed his cheek, resting her head on his shoulder
"I love you Milady…" he whispered
Astrid smiled at him "I love you to Babe…"
Hiccup looked at her "Is that going to be your nickname for me?"
Astrid kissed his cheek again "Yes. Because I want every girl to know you're my babe…"
Hiccup smiled and hugged her. Astrid held him close and kissed his neck softly.
"You're never going to stop calling me Babe are you?" asked Hiccup
"… Nope…" said Astrid, popping the p, then smiling "But that's why you love me."
"Dang… you're right…"
She smiled and kissed him
