Destinies requiem
It's a cold dark night; a young A.C. pilot walks through the deserted streets of raccoon city. The pilot had come to the city for a little rest and relaxation after the mars wars. The transport had landed him just outside of the city, deciding his core definitely wouldn't be necessary, he left it on the outskirts of the city. How wrong he was.
He continued to walk the streets, when he finally reached his house he noticed something quite weird about it. The windows were boarded up and the door look like it had been smashed in. He entered the house drawing his custom magnum from the holster in his jacket. He saw the silhouette of his sister crouched over in the living room. He entered the room, the young woman stood up at him with a dead stare. "Hey sis, what's wrong" said the pilot.
The woman limped towards him. As she came closer he noticed that her body had a decayed look to it. Flesh, appeared to, literally be falling from her body. Her nails were chipped brittle and yellow. She looked as if she was in a trance. "Sis, its me strider. Don't you remember me?"
Suddenly a gunshot rang from outside, at the same time his "sister" lunged at him. She attempted to bite him but failed as strider flipped her off of him. He leaped up as his sister slowly got up. Then it hit him like a ton of bricks, this couldn't be his sister. It was just some carnivorous maniac. Aiming his magnum he fired of a shot, decapitating the woman.
Within seconds a second woman entered the building. Seeing each other they both drew their guns at each other. They stayed like that for a total of five minutes. "Who are you, you are human aren't you." the woman finally said. "Yes, my name is Jon Strider." Strider said as he lowered his gun. The woman, whom he could see a bit more clearly in the darkly lit house, she was a young woman about her twenties. She was wearing a red vest that covered a black t-shirt and red daisy duke looking shorts. All in all she was quite a site.
"So what's your name?" Strider asked. "Claire, Claire Redfield. I came here searching for my brother." Claire answered. "Need any help?" Strider responded. "Humph, do you think I'm that helpless. I'd never accept help from someone I've just met." Claire stated. "Alright, calm down, I didn't mean to offend you, but it would seem that we are outnumbered by these loonies," strider said looking out the window "so it would prove beneficial if we helped each other. I, myself, would rather find my sister and get the hell out of this damn city." "Well I guess your right, here's the deal, head for the police station. At the same time search for my brother, if you find anything tell me when I get to the police station." Claire said. Immediately the windows burst open with more of the crazed townspeople. "Damn its more of them, we better split before they outnumber...us" Claire said too late because Strider was already out the door and around the corner with bullets flying.
