Lion King: The Pride Land Before Time

As the sun hit the Pridelands the all the animals began to wake up and do their daily routine. The monkeys were grooming each other while the elephants were drinking and as the cheetahs were getting exercise. Young Mufasa ran to his father in a hurry.

"Come on dad, get up it is morning" whined Mufasa.

As Ahadi gets up he groans and stretches his body. He is old and wise in many ways and he knows someday one of his children will be king.

"What is it Mufasa, it looks as though the sun has just risen" asked Ahadi.

"Well you said today would be our first trial to decide who would be king someday and as usual Taka is late to rise" Mufasa informed Ahadi.

Ahadi and Mufasa made it to the part of the cave in which Taka was sleeping and Ahadi nudged for Taka to get up. Taka moved a little and moved but didn't wake up, so Ahadi nudged a little harder and Taka fell out of his sleeping spot.

"Ow, I just want to sleep a little longer dad, give me a few more minutes" pleaded Taka.

Mufasa looked at Ahadi in disbelief, Taka had been waiting for this day for awhile, and now he wanted to sleep at a time like this. Mufasa wouldn't stand for this and either would his father, but Ahadi was more understandable he didn't want to get up either.

"Get up you lazy buffalo, today is the first trial of the kings and you want to sleep in for this, how disgraceful" Mufasa Scowled at Taka.

Taka got up in anger and looked at his father then Mufasa and started to growl at Mufasa.

"Someday Mufasa, you will pay for this, and you will take back what you have said to me, the future ruler of the pridelands" yelled Taka.

Mufasa began to laugh and couldn't even stand at that moment; the laughter took a lot of energy.

"Yeah over my dead body Taka" said Mufasa

"If that's what it takes for me to be king" said Taka.

Taka began to show his stubby little claws that he had when his dad cut in.

"Now Taka that is enough we must start right now, so I can go to bed early tonight" demanded Ahadi.

The sons and Ahadi left their home to start the first trial of the kings.
