just a call
It was February 14th, the day were people confessed their love or their love grew stronger fore normal people anyway Roy had taken Riza out for lunch, and pretty much the rest of the military were out except Edward and Al Elric. Honestly Ed could care less about that love stuff. Ed and Al were sparing like always. Then all of a sudden 'crack' Ed's automail fell to the ground "crap my auto mail Winry will be pissed" Ed said as he picked the damaged arm off the ground, and headed back to his dorm he set his auto mail on the table and jumped on his bed 'then again Winry might be too happy and in love to be mad' Ed thought quietly to himself.

Winry lied on her bed with her wrench in her hand and Den by her side. 'It's the day of love and I have no love' no one to give those little candy hearts to but one day, one day Ed will notice he truly loves me and be together forever ' she thought to herself. She grabbed a record and played it. It was a mix of old loves songs. She stared out her window in hope of Ed walking up that hill like before only he had a broken arm or leg then she would through a wrench at him and it would hit him in the head. But she would only pretend to be mad because it would be weird with her not getting mad at him but really the only reson she liked auto mail was because every time she looked at it, she would think of Ed and she liked being reminded of Ed

'maybe she loves me' Ed thought to himself then picked up the old smashed up auto mail "brother you should tell her what happened so you can get a new one" Al said as he looked at his big brother "okay I will" Ed said as he picked up his phone and dialled the number
…Winry…
'ring ring' Winry jumped up and ran to the kitchen and grabbed the phone "hello Rockbell auto-" Winry was cut off "Win we go over this a thousand times you don't have to say it" Ed said through the phone "ED!" Winry said seeming very happy "yeah hey Winry I just called to well… say I love you" Ed said "Ed.. I love you too I really truly love you and I always will" Winry said blushing a deep red. "… and my auto mail broke" "…EDWARD YOU IDEOT!" Winry screamed into the phone. But deep down in the bottom of her heart she knew she was faking it and she truly, madly, deeply loved Edward.
