"DONNA! DONNA, DONNA, DONNA!"
Donna looked up from her book. It had been relatively quiet day and Donna had decided to head to the TARDIS's library to find something to read. She'd been reading for about an hour in silence when the resident Madman had barged in with a goofy smile on his face.
"Donna, you've got to see this!"
Donna looked at the Doctor. He was grinning ear to ear and was literally bouncing up and down. Donna couldn't help but smile. For someone as old as the Doctor, who had seen so much already, it always amazed her how excited he could become. I mean really? He's bouncing up and down like a kid on Christmas day! Still… it couldn't hurt to tease him a bit.
Donna glanced at her book looking uncertain. "I don't know, Spaceman. I'm in the middle of a chapter and it's just got to the good part."
The Doctor gave her a face. "Doooonnnnaaaaaa!" He whined.
She smiled and closed her book. "Well alrig-"
She was cut off by the Doctor grabbing her hand and pulling her through the TARDIS until they were outside. He lead her to a clump of trees, where he stopped and pointed.
"Look. Right over there. Do you see it Donna? Isn't it just marvelous?"
Donna looked around trying to see what the Doctor was pointing at. Suddenly she saw and she let out a gasp. "Yeah. It is marvelous."
Disclaimer: I don't own Dr. Who. (If I did. . . Well let's just say I would've changed a few things . . .)
A/N This is my first Dr. Who story. It's just something small, to get me started. I'd love to hear feedback!
