Authors Note: Okay I decided to write a serious story about Boromir. I am going to use quotes from the movie and from the book. I decided to write a story about what Boromir was thinking while he was dying.

Disclaimer: yeah yeah blah blah…I don't own LOTR…damn it.

                                                My Betrayal

I have failed. I have failed the fellowship, and I have failed my people. I couldn't believe that I tried to take the ring from Frodo. But I wasn't myself; it was as if the power of the ring was trying to posses me, trying to posses my mind. I don't really remember what had happened, everything in my mind is so cloudy.

But now I am paying for what I have done, paying with my life is more like it. I wish that it didn't have to end like this. What is this going to do to the Fellowship?

"Boromir, Boromir what happened? I heard the voice of Aragorn say.

I tilted my head up so I could see him. "I..I tried to take the Ring from Frodo, I am sorry. I have paid." I glanced up at him with tears in my eyes. I felt so ashamed.

"shh…Boromir…It's alright." Aragorn said to me in a whisper.

"The Halflings… the Orcs have taken them, they have kidnapped them." I paused for a little bit trying to catch my breath…my breath was becoming raspy…and every breath was a struggle for me…death was coming for me….

"Farewell Aragorn! Go to Minas Tirith and save my people! I have failed them, I have failed myself."

"No Boromir you haven't failed…In fact you have conquered. Few have gained such a victory. Be at peace! Minas Tirith shall not fall!" Aragorn said to me.

Soon after Aragorn spoke I saw a bright light, I felt drawn to it. It was so beautiful, so gorgeous. I suddenly felt safe and at peace. I felt as if I had no worries in the world. "Please try to hold on." I heard Aragorn say.

All I did was smile; it felt so good to know that he cares for me, after everything that I did to the Fellowship, and to Frodo. I wish for nothing but the best of luck for them all. I hope that they will all stay strong, and destroy the ring. And I hope they don't take my death to hard, they need their strength.

The light became brighter and I decided to go towards it. My time is up and I can't hesitate anymore. I give my love and my strength to the Fellowship. May they find the courage to destroy all this evil in the world, and may they bring peace back to the Middle Earth.

THE END

I hope you like this….for the past week my mind has been bugging me to write a story about Boromir's death…So I did…I don't think that this is very good but ehh….please read and review….please no flames….
