The Meeting
Buffy was just about to shoot the demon when, suddenly, it exploded. What!? She thought. Across the street she saw the women, who all looked about her age. Apparently, they saw her, too, because they asked, "Why on earth are you pointing that at us?? We just saved you!!"
"I don't need any saving, thanks," said Buffy, without putting down her crossbow. "I can take care of myself. Who are you, anyways?"
"Should we tell her?" whispered one to the others.
"I think so, Paige. Piper?" asked the short-haired one.
"Um... yeah, I think so, too, Phoebe," said the woman who must be Piper.
So Paige, the first one, said, "We're the Charmed Ones. Who are you?"
"I'm the Slayer," said Buffy. "Um..What are the Charmed Ones?"
"We fight demons and evil and protect innocents and we're witches- good witches," said Piper. "Now, what's a Slayer?"
"A Slayer is the chosen one, the girl chosen to fight the evils of the world," Buffy said. "But if I fight evil, and you fight evil, isn't that like...like trying to have 2 cashiers at one cash machine?"
"Um... it could be. But maybe we could work together!" said Paige. "Oh by the way, I'm Paige, and [pointing to Piper] that's Piper, and [pointing to Phoebe] that's Phoebe. We're sisters."
"Okay, I'm confused," said Buffy, "and I'm going to see Giles. You guys can come too. Actually, I want you to meet him. He's great. C'mon."
And so, the sisters followed Buffy of to the Magic Box.
