This story starts in Appaloosa Valley.

There once lived a Sim. Although he was not ugly, the other Sims learned fast enough to stop visiting him. This Sim was bitter. He was unfriendly to the other Sims, but more than Sims he hated the animals.

The animals didn't stop to visit him. Cats and dogs were looking for his company. This Sim lived near the forest. Deers and horses were not a rare sight when he looked out of his window.

One day he found that his vegetable patch was destroyed by the deers and horses. Their hoof prints were all over the garden. He got so mad and decided this had to end right here and right now.

He planned to build a fence around his house. That would keep the dogs and horses away he thought. He was not sure if cats couldn't just climb over the fence, but he knew there were other ways to get rid of them.

He went to the shopping mall and bought the supplies for he fence. After that he hurried back home. He didn't felt the urge to start talking to other sims. They were moving out of his way anyway.

Back home he immediately started building the fence. But when he was about to hammer the first part deep in to the ground, he got distracted by a sudden flash of light. Something reflected the light. Curious he looked and what e saw was so amazing. It was a horse, but nothing like every horse he saw before. He saw the horn and suddenly realized this was a unicorn. The unicorn stood still and seemed to stare right into his soul. While he stared back he changed so much from the inside. This moment didn't last more than a couple of seconds, but for the Sim it felt like it lasted forever.

He felt disappointed when the unicorn ran away and disappeared in a flash.

He put his tools and the parts of the fence away. He shouldn't place the fence anymore. Although he never saw the unicorn again, he started being nicer to animals. Shared his food with them and welcomed tired cats and dogs into his home for them to rest and eat something.

He started to going out much more and even found a Sim to marry with. Thanks to the unicorn, his life would be much better.

Thanks for reading my story.
