Disclaimer: I don't own A:TLA

A/N: This was supposed to be for a role-play, but it got too long and I decided not to use it.

Sokka was browsing the market place when he saw a group of people crowd around a rather small booth. He walked towards it, curious to see what was so interesting. As he neared it he heard a man's voice yell out "That's right, folks, it's guaranteed to work for anyone, so get yours today! we are having a one-day sale," he persuaded the crowd. Sokka found a spot near the booth to allow him to see what the man was offering for sale. It appeared to be a small blue glass bottle.

"What's that supposed to do?" Sokka wondered out loud.

"Young man, this is the answer to all of your problems," the man held the bottle higher in hopes to provide Sokka with a better view of the product. Sokka's expression grew even more skeptical then it had been before, and let the man continue his explanation of the blue bottle.

"Tell me the biggest problem, obstacle, or challenge in your life right now," the man said.

"Hmm..." Sokka said sarcastically "My biggest challenge right now is accompanying the avatar throughout the world searching for teachers and training with him so that one day we defeat the fire lord, while trying to protect ourselves and my sister from anyone that wants to hurt us," Sokka said in one breath. The man looked shocked at the response, but immediately regained a confidant face and said

"This potion will help you out in a way you'll never imagine possible! With such a great task that lays ahead of you, you'll surely appreciate such a fine potion. It will improve you strength, courage, and endurance," Sokka rolled his eyes at the phony potion

"Do you people actually believe this guy!" He yelled at the group. The people ignored Sokka's comment and continued to examine the potion and ask the seller questions. "Ugh!" Sokka watched as a hopeful middle-aged couple handed the vendor a ridiculous amount of money with smiles on their faces. Sokka couldn't imagine where the couple could've gotten so much money, because they looked very poor. After figuring they probably have been saving it little by little for a long time, he walked away. "The last thing this village needs are false products sold at a completely unreasonable price." Sokka said angrily.

A/N: I might continue this... but not for a while.
