MI2: To Catch a Thief

Okay, here is another short shot at 'what were they thinking when...?' (note: you can also check out the "Knight and Day" section for more of these).
This one right here is for a moment we all remember from MI:2. Ethan and a certain thief are in the process of acquiring a high-priced necklace. Yep, that moment in the bathtub. LOL I'm not making any money with this, and I'm sorry to say that I don't own any characters (let alone the necklace) from the movie, either.

This. Man. Is. … Irksome. More pesky than a room full of curious cats. And twice as fast, obviously. How he got into the room without me hearing him, I really don't know. Frankly, he surprised me. Though I will never admit that to his face, no matter how good-looking his face- hold it. I can't work like this. We seriously need to change positions here. Okay, that's better. Relatively speaking, that is.
If he doesn't wipe that smug grin off his face really soon I'm gonna show him what I think about guys trying to outsmart me. There, see? That'll teach ya. Ah, I *think* I hit a *little* too hard there. Didn't mean to, honestly. But it's his fault. And he knows it. In fact, he looks almost cheeky as he rearranges himself more comfortably - who is this man?
Well, at least I got the necklace. Now I'll just have to close the...
