METROID PRIME: Great War Redux

Hehehe...I took it upon myself to make something of the rather short Dark Samus ending of Metroid Prime 2, kupo. Samus won't show up until later, and even then the story will focus more around the Luminoth, kupo.
On with the show, kupo!
-Temple Grounds, GFMC Compound-
It had been 2 years since the Great War's end. Aether had been in a state of disarray, but was stable again, as the one known as Samus Aran had returned the planetary energy from Dark Aether back to the Light World, ending the dark planet's existence entirely, allowing the race known as the Luminoth to again pursue their lives.
K-Mos, adoptive daughter of the fifth Sentinel U-Mos, was part of a cleanup process under way at the old GFMC Compound. She, however, had been looking at something in the sky, orange and green in color(!) a starship passing through. Distracted, she accidentally dropped the crate she had already been struggling to carry on her supervisor's toe.
"Kyaah!" screeched the old Luminoth. "K-Mos... must I tell you again to pay attention?"
"Oh! Sorry!" K-Mos said gloomily. She'd done that for the third time today, each time on a different toe.
The old Luminoth, named A-Kai, sighed. "Oh, don't worry, I may be old, but not weak at all," he chuckled. "Why don't you head home? You've been awfully distracted by something."
"All right."
-Great Temple, Sentinel's Residence-
"Home already, Daughter?" U-Mos asked his adopted young one. "You look like you've been rolling around in sand all day."
She had not, of course, rolling around in sand, but it was a bit dusty up at the GFMC Compound since the GFS Tyr had been repaired and sent off, hence why K-Mos looked the way she did. She looked down at herself, noticing just how grubby she'd gotten. Oh well, it was better than living in that hole in the Path of Eyes(!). She had never really known what caused her to end up there, anyway. Ah, hell. At least the highly territorial War Wasps didn't bother her there. The last memory she had from there was U-Mos taking a stroll through the Temple Grounds, and noticing the hole…
U-Mos gave a small ahem. "Something on your mind?"
K-Mos looked back up. "No, just thinking."
"About what?"
"Oh, nothing really." K-Mos coughed a bit from the dust on her. "Although I could use a bath," she said with a small grin.
"I would say the same," U-Mos chuckled. As K-Mos headed off to the bathroom, U-Mos thought he saw a blue particle fly by…He decided to ignore it, then entered a battle stance as more of them began to merge into a dark, armored figure…
Dark Samus had risen again.

(!)The "hole" in the Path of Eyes was actually a Morph Ball tunnel one could use to skip the path entirely.
