((A/N: I'm a terrible, terrible person, I know. I've lost all interest in writing chapter fics, and even though I'm going to try and finish To Kiss A Kitten eventually, there won't be anymore chapter fics after that. I love oneshots to death though, so I hope to be writing more of them.))

Too Much Information

Warm air wafted through the open classroom windows, as students sat, half asleep, throughout the room. Mayuko Sensei stood at the front, a rather large stack of detention papers clutched in her hands.

"So," She began. "Due to a sudden increase in fights between students," She made a point of glaring in a certain orange haired boy's direction at this. "The school board has requested that I do something to help 'break the boundaries' between cliques." A few select students rolled their eyes, while others' eyes glimmered with hope.

"Today's assignment is to find one thing about yourself that you're sure no one in this room knows." She paused. "And no one in this room can know this secret but you. Not your friends, not your relatives, no one." With one last glance around the room, she sat, mumbling a short "Begin".

For the next twenty-or-so minutes, the class wracked their brans for a secret they were willing to share.

"What are you going to say, Kyo-kun?" Tohru asked politely.

The cat only shrugged.

She gasped, clapping her hands together. "You could announce you and Hatsuharu-kun's wedding date!" She whispered.

"You and Yuki already know about it." He pointed out curtly. "But what about you?"

The girl began to babble slightly, having completely forgotten about her own paper in favor of her cursed friend.

Kyo laughed quietly, turning back to the blank paper in front of him. He only had a few more minutes to write something down, but what could he say? He felt like he actually wantedto surprise Tohru and Yuki, but he couldn't think of anything about himself that they didn't know.

..except for..

'No.' He told himself, 'I could never announce that to this bunch of idiots.'

But it was just too good to pass up, and he was sure Haru wouldn't mind.

"Time's up!" Mayuko Sensei announced, and he scribbled down his thoughts.

This was going to be priceless.

Nothing really interesting had been exposed yet.

A few Yuki Fangirls had announced their (very obvious) love for him, while the yankee had bluntly stated that she indeed had an older boyfriend, and they were indeed going steady. The "Prince" sat twitching in his seat, appearing more nervous than ever, and Kyo could only wonder if his secret had anything to do with Momiji.

"..Okay, what about you, Kyo?" Mayuko asked, leaning back in her chair. "Did you even bother to write anything?"

He nodded, his cheeks flushing slightly.

He had to be serious about this though, he realized. If not, it wouldn't have the effect he was hoping for.

"Well, come up here, so everyone can see you, and tell us what it is!" The impatient teacher demanded.

He made the small trip to the front of the classroom, and all eyes landed on him. 'You would think Yuki was up here or something, with how quiet they're being.'

He cleared his throat.

"My secret is.." He began, scanning the small sentence he'd written. "..is that I've had gay sex in my cousin's bedroom."

..silence..

until of course,

"WHAT?!" Yuki screeched, standing abruptly, sending his seat crashing into the wall behind him.

Kyo couldn't help but laugh, until it was clear that the rat was set on ripping him to shreds, then he shot out of the room.

As Yuki flew out behind him, and the door slammed shut, pleas of, "It was only once!" and "We cleaned everything up!" could be heard through the halls.

And later, if both Kyo and Haru came home just a little worse for wear, everyone pretended not to notice.
