The Forgotten Stories of SAW: Story 1

Chapter 1: Waking Up
"Wake up, kid. Wake up. You have to wake up." Waking up in a strange house with nothing but the clothes on your back is something you don't want to find yourself doing, trust me. My name is Jeff, and why I'm here, I don't know, but I'm not going to stay here. I have to find a way out. This place looks like a nice house; it's not battered and beaten up or nothing like that. It looks like whoever used to, or who still does, live here has kept it in good shape, but when you're being captive here for reasons unknown, it kind of doesn't appeal to you as much. I'm in a bedroom, a small one. There's a bed, a clock, a piano, and a door, that's it. Oh, there's a note sheet type of drawing on the wall above the piano, written in a red colored marker or something. Anyway, I'm going to get out of here.
What the hell? There's something in my pocket… a mini tape player, w/ a tape. Hmm… Wonder why I've got it? Let's find out. "Hello, Jeff. I want to play a game. It's a fairly simple game of "Stay Alive". Over there on the wall are notes for a melody. I want you to play them on the piano just below it. But, you don't know how to read notes, do you? Yes, I know about you, a lot more than you think. Like, for example, how you signed up for music lessons to read notes, but never went. Instead, you went to a strip club, and, well, let's just say you didn't just watch the girls. While you were out, your poor girlfriend was kidnapped, bound and gagged, and locked up somewhere insecure. Only I know the location of your girlfriend, but to get the information, you're gonna have to play a tune. Play the notes on the wall within an hour on the piano, or your girlfriend will die, and you will be left in the room to rot. If you try to escape out the door without successfully playing the tune, you will be shot in the heart and die. But this shouldn't be a problem for you. You took music lessons, right? Your time starts now."
What the hell?! How does he know that? No one saw me go there. Oh my god, Juliet. He better not do anything to her. Jesus Christ, Why did I have to go to that goddamn club? How is he going to shoot me? I see no gun. What the hell is this?! "LET ME OUT OF HERE YOU SON OF A BITCH!!" I never did learn how to read notes. Shit. Shit!
