Maybe we were just born for each other. We (I) just didn't get the message right away…
"You think those two will ever be together?" a girl with long scarlet hair asked, her eyes looked on at the couple she was talking about.
"Sure they will! I got you and Jellal together, didn't I?" a girl with long white hair answered, giggling at the blushing face of her friend.
"M-Mira! We're talking about those two rocks over there!"
"Oh hush Erza~ I'm sure one of them isn't dense~" Mira giggled as she playfully slapped Erza's hands off of her, as Erza continued to shake her out of embarrassment.
"How can you say that? After 3 years of knowing each other, there's still no progress with them!"
"You do know that Lucy has been with us for two years so far."
"So?! That doesn't change anything! Or did you forget that for the first month she was here, Natsu practically strapped her to him." Erza pointed at the pair she was talking about, which was busy goofing around on the grass.
"Like I said Erza, one of them isn't dense."
"Huh! W-What you mean-?!"
Mira giggled once more and nodded, whereas Erza stared at her in disbelief.
"Oww Natsu! Get your fat ass off of me!" Lucy whined as she tried to push away the said guy.
"Hey that's all muscle you know! Not fat!" Natsu whined back while he kept a hold on her.
"Ohh~ I know that's all muscle~" Lucy giggled, making Natsu gawk at her.
"You perv-!"
"Anyway~ let me up already! I have a date with Gray today." Lucy said, trying once again to push him off of her.
"But he has Juvia. Why are you going on a date with him?" His hold on her tightened a bit, which made Lucy pout.
"Jeez I'm just going to help him buy a gift for their anniversary. Don't tell me your jealous~" Lucy teased him, but Natsu just stared at her.
"So what if I'm jealous?"
With that simple answer, Lucy had no comeback but just gawked at him.
"Why?"
"What do you mean why?"
"I mean~ Why are you jealous? I… Do you even like me?" She asked, blushing at the thought of Natsu liking her.
"Luce… You already had me the moment you stepped in our class."
"Bu-But… That was like a year or was it two (?) ago!"
"I don't need to count how long it's been, because I fell for you ever since."
Lucy continued to get redder with each of his unexpected answer.
"B-But why now?" She asked, her voice squeaking as her heart started to pound louder and louder.
"Because Luce…"
Doki.
Doki.
"I want you to be mine, like I'm already yours." Natsu said, smiling his signature grin at her.
"I..Uhmm…"
"You do know it's unfair that you're not mine, when you already have me." Natsu whined as he waited for her answer.
"O-Okay!" She squeaked, her blush going up a notch when Natsu immediately pulled her closer to him. Her breath caught in her throat at the inch space between of their lips.
"Just kiss already!" A voice shouted startling the two. Behind them stood their friends side by side, grinning, smirking or smiling at the two.
"Well you heard them." Natsu smirked at the shocked yet still blushing face of the girl he fell so hard for.
