Anita scowled at her sisters as they continued to ignore her. 'What the hell is this?' angrily she downed the tall glass of milk, before slamming the cup on the counter-top.
No reaction.
Huffing she picked up the forgotten knapsack on the floor and left the small apartment, feet landing heavily with every step to the door. "Goodbye…?" Anita yelled before storming out, the door vibrating with the force it was shut with.
Nenene opened the bathroom door. "What was her problem?"
Maggie glanced up from her book.
Michelle continued flipping pages of the magazine in her hand. "She thinks we forgot her birthday."
Nenene's lips formed the perfect 'o' before slipping back into the bathroom.

White hair flashed in front of her eyes before a hand closed around her wrist, pulling her to a halt. "What the--" Anita broke off as a car suddenly drove inches in front of her.
Juniors fingers loosened on her wrist but lingered. "Is something wrong?"
She tugged her hand away. "It's nothing." She started to walk again, this time watching with cautious eyes as she crossed the street. Anita felt him fall into step with he. "Are you going to school?" The answer was an obvious one.
His hand tugged on the strap of his knapsack. "Yes." Was his simple answer as the two continued their walk to their school.
Anita glared at the ground. 'He didn't remember either.' She thought, a twinge of disappointment raced through her.
Junior stopped in front of his class. "I'll see you after school."
Anita blinked at him. "Uh, okay." She watched him walk into the room and take his seat before leaving to her own class.

She slammed her books down on her desk as the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. 'How the hell could everyone forget today?!'
"Anita?" A voice called from the door.
She spun toward the door seeing Junior. Glancing at the clock she checked the time. "You're early."
He smiled his hand gripped the strap on his strap on his shoulder and the other behind his back. "I thought you waited long enough." He said coming closer to her desk.
"What?" she watched as he pulled his hand out from behind his back, showing her an origami rose. Red tinted her cheeks. "Junior…"
"Happy birthday Anita." He said handing her the rose, and giving her a brief kiss on the cheek.
