Thalia woke up to a small voice beside her. "Thals i'm scared" her baby brother Jason said. Once her eyes were fully adjusted to the dark she saw her 5 year old baby brother with his thumb in his mouth and his blue blanket in hand with his favorite pikachu plushie. He looked up at her with his big watery blue eyes. She got up and picked him up and brought him onto the bed with her. "What's wrong Jase?" she asked as she ran her fingers through his blonde hair this seemed to calm him down a bit. "I had a nightmare"he said "About what?" "A lady she said it was almost time for me to go,I don't want to go!" he cried into his sister's shoulder as she rubbed circles on his back. She sighed it was always that same nightmare every time.
She took Jasons face into her hands making him look at her. She almost cried with him there, his eyes were so scared so sad it was devastating to see her little brother in so much pain. "Jason I swear I will never ever let anyone touch or take you away, Okay?". Little Jason nodded happily he grinned at her with one of his two front teeth missing he said "Okay" "Ok good now maybe we can get some sleep?" she asked opening up the covers for her little brother not wanting him to walk by their moms room, who knew that that lady did at night Thalia thought.
Jason crawled under and put his head on the pillow. Thalia flipped over so that she was looking right into his eyes, blue and blue a trait from their father she thought. "Thalia?" Jason asked "Yea Jase" she responded "I love you." he said and with that he hugged her tight under the covers. "I love ya to Jase" she said ruffling his hair and hugging him back.
Thalia woke up with tears in her eyes and sweat down her forehead. She got up quickly ever since the war was won, and camps united and Jason deciding to stay at Camp Half-Blood its been awkward between them neither of them know how to approach each came out of the Artemis cabin and ran to the Zeus/Jupiter cabin.
She opened the door and saw Jason sleeping on the big bed in the middle of the room. She walked over and tapped him on the shoulder. He woke up fast, it happens to everyone after wars, after battle jitters. "Thalia ?" he asked his voice still groggy from sleep. She couldn't help it she hugged him as tightly as possible and started to cry into his shoulder. "Um Thalia …. Hey, you okay?" he ask concerned for his sisters sanity because he knew from talk around camp that Thalia Grace wouldn't just give anyone hugs.
"Jase im so sorry I didn't keep my promise they took you and I tried Jason I tried to get you back i'm so sorry Jase I love you ok." "Um Thals what promise?" Jason asked as he rubbed circles on her back "The promise to you that I made when you were little and scared that I wouldn't let anyone take you" she said. His face softened and he hugged her tightly "Its ok Thals ok? I love ya and we are all safe and together no ones gonna hurt me anymore." he said and with that he kept her close to him just like her dream but this time Jason was the savior.
