16 Looked at Bulma as she told him what she felt. He looked at her for a second and then shook his head. "Bulma I am an android. Despite my new artificial organs I am still a machine." He said as he looked at her. "I don't care 16. I feel so strongly about this. I thought it through over and over again." She answered. He looked at her for a little longer and knew that when she had her mind made up that she didn't back down. "Bulma have you thought about Trunks? How he would feel about all of this? I am not his father nor could I hope to be." 16 asked and stated. She stared at him. "Yes I have. I know that it wouldn't be easy on him, but he respects you. And you have proven to be a very strong and kind man." She said to him. He backed up a little and looked at her. Trunks walked in to hear him mother talking to 16. He could also tell that she was determined about something. He started to walk away until he heard her say something about loving him. Then he walked closer and saw her pressed against 16. He was angry with the android until he heard him. "Bulma, I am sorry. I don't want to harm my friend. I know that this would hurt Trunks and I don't want to do that. I don't want to take the memory of his father and mother being together." He said as he walked away toward the inner garden. Trunks walked in behind her and stood. "Why would you betray father like that?" He asked. She turned to see him. "Why would you say something like that and betray father?" He asked again. "Trunks here your father is dead and there is no way of bringing him back. 16 has become a dear friend and I feel things for him. Like when I did with your father. I can't help it." She said.
"No mother you can help it. If it was father he wouldn't touch another woman. Not because he wouldn't want to but because of his pride and because of the fact he loved you." Trunks said. "I know that Trunks, but your father has been dead for nearly 14 years here. And I am only human." She hung her head down and Trunks looked at her. He wrapped his arms around his mother and hugged her. "I'm sorries mom. I didn't mean to upset you like that. But I just can't see you with anyone else but father." He said to her. She nodded.
