Disclaimer: I don't own Buffy or the characters but I had to give them a happy ending anyway.
Willow's Peace
"Willow to the left." Buffy called while fighting off two demons of her own. Willow ducked a hit before using magic to obliterate him.
"Thanks Buffy. … Ah… " Willow cried out as she crumpled to the ground a knife protruding from deep inside her chest. Buffy quickly killed the remaining demons before rushing to Willow's side.
"Will. Oh god. Please don't die. We have to get you to a hospital." Buffy reached for her phone.
"No. Buffy it's my time. I can feel it and I want to go be with Tara." Willow whispered.
"Tara?" Confused Buffy checked Willow's forehead for a sign of a fever.
"Yeah. She's here and I want to go with her. I have to be with her." Willow explained calmly.
"But I don't want you to die."
"It's ok. I'm not afraid to die anymore. I want to be with her." Buffy started crying. I promise it will be ok. I will be watching over you. We both will."
"What about Dawn? And Xander?" Buffy cried desperately trying to make her friend stay.
"Tell them I love them and that we'll be waiting for you guys where ever we are. I just want to be happy again. With the love of my life." Willow had tears running down her eyes begging her friend to let go. Buffy sighed sadly but stopped applying pressure to the wound and started to cradle Willow in her arms.
"Will I will miss you so much." She cried into Willow's neck.
"Me too. Give my Love to the Giles and Xander and Dawn. And even Anya."
"I will." The two girls began to tear up again. With a final nod Willow closed her eyes. Lying still with a smile on her lips she was finally hole again.
When Willow opened her eyes again she was meet with sparkling blue ones looking lovingly at her. Tara reached out to her helping a slightly giddy Willow stand. Once upright Willow grabbed Tara into a hug so fierce in caused Tara to let a soft squeak of surprise out before settling into her lovers arms. Both girls burst into tears at the comfort of the hug. Suddenly Willow pulled back.
"Is it really you?" Tara giggled at the question.
"Yes Will, and you're really here with me. I'm never letting you go." Willow didn't respond verbally. Instead she pulled Tara even closer and kissed her passionately. By the time the girls broke apart their lips were bruised.
"I told you we're forever." Tara whispered against Willow's lips.
"Never doubted it. Well maybe a little. Ok a lot. But you were taken from me and as you once said there are hundreds of heaven dimensions. Which heaven is this? Is this even heaven? Do you know where we are? Are you happy here? I thought I would never be happy again. You left and I was so lost. I…"
"Willow! You're babbling." Tara interrupted gently while motioning for Willow to take a breath. "I am happy now. How about I show you around and you can decide for yourself." Receiving a nod Tara gently took Willow's hand giving it soft kiss before also planting one on her lips and leading Willow around their new home.
