Episode 12

A Stranger in the Night

Off Screen

The day started out normal. Dad and mom went to work before Ruka, my twin sister, and I woke up. We would find breakfast ready in the kitchen and a note on the fridge explaining how long they will be gone on their business trip. It was something we got used to our parents always being gone. We went about the day like we usually would. We ate breakfast as we watched Jack Atlus latest duel on the t.v. Did our homework and emailed them to our teacher. Had lunch and watched t.v. some more then dinner. I asked Ruka to have a table duel with me. All in all it was a normal day. I wish that someone would come and change our routine though. Make things a bit more exciting. Just someone we can hang out with. It gets lonely with just Ruka and me here.

On Screen

I was concentrating on the duel that it took me a while to notice Ruka wasn't doing anything for her turn. I looked up to her face confounded as to why she stopped. "What's wrong?" I asked her a little worried if she was getting sick. Her face looked pained and she started shaking in fright. What's happening? Ruka then bolted off the couch and I ran after her. "Ruka! Ruka?" I called after her wanting her to stop.

Off Screen

Ruka ran out of our apartment and out to the hallway. We passed many room and then she slowed down. She stopped in the elevator hall pressing the down button constantly. "Ruka what's happening?" I asked as I caught up to her. She ignored me as she only focused on the numbers above the elevators and pressing the down button. I grabbed her suddenly by the shoulders. "Tell me what's going on." I demanded of her furious at her for ignoring me.

"Someone's hurt." She murmured. Before I could ask further the elevator doors swung open and Ruka ran in I followed her quickly knowing that she at her state she might just press the close button and leave me behind.

The elevator doors slid closed and slowly descended. "Who's hurt?" I asked still angry.

"I don't know." Ruka said clasping her hands. The elevator doors opened revealing the building's basement parking.

On Screen

Ruka ran out and I followed after her. She stopped and gaped at something. I looked to where she was looking and saw a guy crashed into the trash with his motorcycle.

"Ruka, who is he?" I asked her worried at the guy's condition. His body was trembling in what looked like pain. What happened to him?

If you have looked at my profile you would know why I wrote this. But because I know only a few people look through it I'll explain why I wrote this. I wrote this because I also wanted to write Rua's earlier episode appearances. That's all. Well also because there is still no episode 48 sub. So I wrote this. Oh and unlike Rua's Thoughts this won't be updated weekly. This will truly depend on my free time which is few.

This chapter was easy to write. Didn't even take me an hour.

You may critique, point out grammar, etc. All reviews are welcome. Just not flames. Those are pretty pointless.

I still see no subbed episode 48. I guess I'll try to work on either episode 13 or Ushio's chapter in Gifts from the Heart.

And no this doesn't mean I'll post episode 48. I still want 3 people to review episode 47 before I post episode 48 chapter. Still feeling slightly evil. But you may see it soon as one person has reviewed it. Still need two reviewers though.
