A/N Bleh. It's okay, I guess. I'm gonna keep you guessing through the whole thing. See if you can guess the characters. You never will. New chapter for You'd Be Surprised soon.

A girl stands in the arena at her camp – if you could call it a camp.

She fights and she trains and she blows up at people because if she doesn't, she will break down. And if she breaks down, she will cry. And she cannot cry because her father is the God of War and his children do not cry.

People avoid the arena in recent days. She figures it's because of her. People know not to mess with her right now, even her brothers and sisters. After all, she isn't just any child. She's his toughest. She's been there the longest, she's been in the real world more times than the others.

Besides him, she may very well be the most important person there.

But he's not there right now, is he? No, he's long gone. He's gone, and she doesn't know where. (Well, she does now, but that doesn't make her feel any better.)

She wants to help him. She knows she can, but they won't let her. ("No, it is not right. Go back to your training," They say.)

How is she supposed to sit around and wait? She loves him! Sure, she's never told him, but she hopes he knows that. How could she not? Not many people would take the time to get to know her. She has walls; layers and layers of brick walls covered in concrete. But he didn't care, he waited. He let her take her own walls down, he didn't destroy them.

And he was just supposed to leave him alone? Who knows what they did to his mind? What if he's different? What if he isn't hers anymore? What if he doesn't want her to be his anymore?

Another girl enters the arena, albeit cautiously. If she knew what was good for her, she'd stay out all-together. But that's never bothered her. She is, after all, a daughter of the wisdom goddess. How they became friends, neither will ever know.

"He'll be okay," She tells her friend.

"I'm sure," The first girl replies snidely.

The blonde one smiles, gray eyes shining. "Wow. Still the ever-sarcastic one."

Shaking her head, the trainer shrugs. "Whatever."

She frowns again. "I promise." And then she walks out, knowing she's said all she can.

And the girl goes back to slashing and hacking, because it's all she can do to keep from screaming at the sky.

He will be okay, she thinks. I'll make sure of it.

A/N So? Did you guess who it is? Probably not, considering it never actually says who her parent is. But if you've read my other story, Traitor, Traitor, then I've officially made Mars her dad.

That's right; the girl here is Reyna, and she's talking about Jason. Plus a random Minerva girl. Probably Dakota.

I like Piper better with Leo anyway. Jason can keep his old girlfriend.
