A/N ok I usually don't do stuff like this… well really I don't think I've ever written something like what I'm about to write but it's probably like really bad… here it is.

Eleven-year-old Teddy Lupin and his best friend Fred Weasly walked down the hallway Fred as always was talking about his quiditch (sp?) but Teddy wasn't listening. " England might have a chance in the world cup this year, dad said…" Fred trailed off. " Hello? Teddy woo-hoo you there?"

Teddy's head shot upward taking his head away from dreamland. " W-what oh, sorry" He said brushing his blue bangs out of his face. "You know, you really should cut those." Said Fred. "Yeah, your right." He screwed up his eyes and suddenly his bangs grew shorter.

"Wicked, I never get tired of that." Fred said grinning. " Yeah, I got it from my Mum and…" Teddy trailed off, and sighed in depression. Fred caught on quickly. "Oh well, um, I'll just um, er, go, er, now." Fred said walking away carefully.

Teddy just sighed again. He always did this when he started talking about his mum or dad. If he could have one thing in the world he would want his parents back. it's been so long… he doesn't even remember what they look like.

Just as he was passing the painting of Barnabas the Barmy, a door appeared. And Teddy being the curious one he is opened it. Inside the room was dusty so dusty that Teddy sneezed.

It was a big room; there were doors that said girl and boy. Teddy figured they were bathrooms. As he walked on he saw a picture on the wall of a pretty girl smiling at him. The room itself was pretty amazing.

There were couches and a fireplace and tables and everything it reminded Teddy of the Griffindore common room. But a table, just an ordinary white table caught Teddy's eye.

He walked over to it. It was beautiful, there were curves and lined carved in twisting and turning entwining into flowers and stars and hearts.

And on the table was an envelope with the name Teddy written on it. Teddy Bit his Lip as he opened the envelope, it said:

Teddy, if you are reading this, we are dead. We are sorry we could not be there to witness you grow up. But we know that you will be all right. We are happy you are alive; do not sorrow over our deaths, as we would rather die than see you die. We died for your freedom. Don't ever forget that. We love you Teddy, and everyone else, Grandma, Harry, Ron, Hermione, loves you. Don't forget us Teddy, we are always with you.

Love Forever,

Mum and Dad

Teddy's throat closed up. He closed his eyes, trying to keep himself from crying, and failing horribly. He could feel the tears trying to seep through his eyelashes. He bit his lip. Tears started to pour down his face like rain in a storm.

He looked down at the letter. It was the only thing he had left of his parents. He pocketed the letter, and wiped his tears. He walked past the pretty girls painting again. She smiled at him. " Your parents were very brave." She said. Teddy looked up, and smiled. "I know." He said.

this is something that came out of my head. don't ask.
