Yearning

She heard Hector's heavy footsteps as they came down the rickety wooden stairs. Did he really expect her to forgive him for locking her up in a cage? She wouldn't forget this, even if he did manage to free her from human form. A goddess isn't known for letting grudges go. That didn't stop her from feeling a slight something for him, she blamed that on her human form. He slowly approached the bars with a wicked smirk on his face.

"Ya can wipe dat look wipe off yer face, Hector," Tia spat at him, folding her arms over her almost exposed chest.

"Now, now, Calypso, there's no need to be rude," Barbossa chided lightly, his fingers itching to touch her smooth, mocha skin and he felt a sense of warmth spread over him as he watched her chest heave up and down as she breathed.

He had had her once before, after she had risen him from the dead. She had been all too eager. He was yearning for her again. Yearning to feel the warm swells of her breasts in his rough hands. Yearning to have one of those dark nipples in between his sharp teeth, rolling it back and forth as he would flick his tongue over the hard little bud. He was no fool though, he knew the woman would never let him touch her again.

"I'm not being rude…ya already got what ya wanted out of me. Ya nots get it again," she scowled, shaking a thick dreadlock out of her beautiful face, not sure if she believed her own words or not, part of her would let him touch her again.

"Aye? Well we'll see about that, me love," Barbossa said and watched a slight look of fear cross over her face.

"Ya wouldn't. Ya may be a cruel man, but ya not stupid," Tia said, her voice quivering slightly.

"Ya be right about that. I know better than to take a powerful goddess by force. Perhaps ya can just yield to me once more?" he asked, trying to keep the desperation out of his voice. Hector Barbossa was not a desperate man.

"I already told ya. Not again," she replied, casting her gaze away from him and over to the wall lest her eyes betray her.

He fought back the disappointed sigh. He could never show weakness. He was not a weak man. He was strong, he was evil, he was cruel. Even the pits of hell didn't want him; ending up spitting him right back out. There was no way he would ever admit that a simple woman had this much power over him. Ah, but she was no simple woman, she was in fact a goddess in a human form.

Perhaps it hurt him that her heart would never belong to him. She would always belong to Davy. Too long he had longed for a woman's touch and when he finally got it, it was not to last.

"Enjoy yer cage, Calypso. Ya won't be behind bars too much longer," he said, turning and walking back up the stairs.

She did pity him slightly. She could feel his pain even though he tried hard to hide it. She understood. She could never love him, even if she wanted to.
