"Holy..." Elliot looked up and saw Parker sailing through the air towards him. He had just enough time to open his arms as her momentum slammed them both to the ground.

"Dammit Parker. A little warning next time." Elliot growled under his breath while checking her over for injuries. Satisfied she was unharmed he looked back up to the window she'd jumped from. "How'd you even know I'd be there?"

"I didn't." Parker replied, taking deep breaths as the adrenaline (her favorite rush) ebbed away now that she was on solid ground. She picked herself up quickly to hide the smile that crept onto her face and just missed seeing Elliot look at her like she was crazy.

Of course she hadn't known Eliot would be there to catch her. She couldn't have known. There was no time to check. She had thrown herself out of the window to avoid detection as Sophie and their latest mark entered the room she was bugging.

She knew it wasn't the best decision but she wouldn't be the reason that the con was blown. She was the world's greatest thief! She never got caught and she certainly wouldn't blow their cover over a little thing like a two story drop.

Her heart had been pounding as she snatched the flash drive and dove through the window. Her arms were spread wide to slow her decent as much as possible as she planned to tuck and roll at the last second. She really should have been more tense but instead felt an odd sense of peace.

It was almost as if some part of her did know Elliot would be there. Right in the perfect spot. Right at the perfect time. No matter how much notice she did or didn't give him.

They'd only been working together a short time and Parker realized with a widening smile that she was already beginning to trust the hitter, more than herself even, when it came to reliability on the job and keeping them all safe.

So she might do more risky things with the team than on her own. After all, she kind of liked that they thought she was crazy.

Because Normal was Boring.

And Crazy was a Lot of Fun! And not at all painful when there was an Elliot to catch you...

A/N: I've been on Netflix marathon of the Leverage show for some months now. Having finished the last episode (seriously awesome except for, you know, the whole 'being-the-end' thing), reading all three books (which had some merit), and dabbling (ever so slightly) into the fanfiction world I decided to go back through and watch the series again. Yes, I know I'm officially obsessed. I just enjoy the way Leverage puts hints throughout each show that you can pick up on the more you watch an episode. Last night during this episode (the spoken lines are in fact pulled directly from the episode) I was forced to pause the playback as the plotbunnies and my muse did a little… mingling.

This is my first attempt at writing in a LOOOOONG time and I appreciate any feedback – good or bad. That said, THANK YOU for the time you spent reading!
