Pairings- Shaggy/Velma
It was a month before the gang's senior prom. Shaggy sees Velma at her locker and nervously approaches her.
"Hello, Shaggy." Velma says, looking up at him.
"Hey, Velma." Shaggy stammers.
"What do you need?" she asks.
"Like- do you know the prom next week?" This gets a nod from Velma. "Would you like to come to the prom with me?"
"Of course, I would, Shaggy."
Shaggy smiles, half out of relief that she agreed to go with him.
The night of the prom couldn't seem to come fast enough to Shaggy and Velma. Both were both excited, yet nervous, about going to the prom.
Both of them had liked the other for a while, but had not admitted it to the other, even though the two were very close friends.
But when Shaggy and Velma walked with their hands together into the school for prom, everyone who was there could see how much they liked each other.
They could see it so much that they were voted prom King and Queen.
