Jeff walked into Lita's locker room, finding her curled up and sobbing, in his bed.
"I assume you being in my bed you want to talk?" Jeff asked curiously. She nodded her head.
"Matt hit me, I don't know why, he just did…" Lita replied.
"Do you know why he hit you?"
"I just told you I didn't know why!" she yelled, and she started crying into the sheets again.
"Sorry," Jeff said, trying to make her feel better. He did like her, he liked her a lot, but he knew Matt and her were boyfriend and girlfriend, and he didn't want to get involved…but the opportunity was shining in his face.
"Do you want to talk?" Jeff asked again, finally sitting beside her on the bed.
"I don't know, I mean I dint do anything to him, he just told me to back off and stay out of his life, and…and…" she stopped.
"He hit you…" Jeff finished for her.
"I was getting there, but yeah." She replied. Jeff had a concerned look on his face, and she replied with a smile.
"Jeff…" she opened her arms as if she wanted a hug, Jeff hesitated, but Lita nodded, and he hugged her, he didn't ever want to let go of her but, they were only friends and…
"Jeff, do you like me…" it sounded like a statement but he knew it was a question.
"Only as a friend, but with you and Matt, I never get involved." He replied, it wasn't the truth, of course. He wanted to tell her of all the feelings he had for her.
***What should happen next? Jeff is probably not telling the truth, so what does he do? What will Matt do if he finds out that Jeff wants Lita?
