The Quest Begins

"Has anyone heard about the legend of square water?"

Everyone turned towards the bearded speaker. Queen Cocktail Wargon II looked up from the documents she was analyzing and looked at him inquiringly.

"No, do tell Lord Dellis." She demanded with authority. Lord Dellis leant back in his cushioned chair and while stroking his long white beard, checked that everyone was listening. Once his was satisfied, his story began.

"Once upon there were two young knaves of the names, Lewis and Louis, who set off to find a cure for a horrible disease that was slowly killing their mother. Within their travels the stumble across a magical land that contained a magical substance that was later called square water. They brought it back to their dying mother in hope that it would cure her. The mother was so overjoyed with this wonderful gift that she completely forgot about her illness and became whole and healthy once more."

"Well this truly is a magical substance that could very well help us in these times of need." Her majesty stated, a thoughtful looked passing gently across her delicate features.

"My Lord, just where can we possibly find such a thing?" Lady Pondly asked.

"Alas, I have no knowledge of it's whereabouts. Lewis and Louis died of old age just last year without passing that fact. Although it is thought that it is hidden in what is known as a parallel universe. I believe that they were over 500 years old when they went." The lord said losing track of the subject, luckily Cocktail intervened.

"Then we must send someone on a quest through these parallel universes of yours in order to retrieve some of this 'square water'." She said, reputedly standing up.

"With all due respect your majesty," began the Duke of Grissledeed, "who?"

Just as the almighty Queen lowered her head in defeat, a soft masculine voice was heard from the doorway.

"I believe I know."

The rulers of the continent looked up to see the glow of a magnificent unicorn that had just entered the room.

"Sorry I'm late." It said.

"Apology accepted, Harvey dear friend but who did you have in mind?" The Queen asked the magical beast.

"The last two remaining daughters of the elements of course. The daughter of fire and the daughter of electricity."
