"Tohru, I love you" I said aloud, practicing to myself how I would tell her. Little did I know, she was around the corner and heard exactly what I said. I heard a faint gasp, and something drop. I quickly whirled around to be met with a site I didn't want to see. A very shocked looking Tohru, who had dropped the basket full of laundry she was carrying. That's when it hit me. She heard me. Oh great! She heard me, and now she was going to hate me! So I ran. Even when I heard her call my name, I continued running.

Why is she chasing me? It's not like she loves me too... But I have to hand it to her; she is pretty fast for a girl. Maybe if I go faster then she'll stop chasing me. I pick up my speed a little bit, thinking maybe then she'll stop chasing me.

What, she's just picking up speed too? The smallest bit of hope shines in my chest, and I stop so I can talk to her. I know she'll want to talk. I'm sure she wants to know if I meant it. If I meant it when I said that I loved her.

"Yes Tohru, I meant it. I meant what I said. I love you" I say, and then blush and tilt my head to the side so she can't see my maroon colored face.

I hear her gasp lightly and pray that it's a good gasp. I don't want her to hate me. If she hates me, I just may kill myself.

"I love you too, Kyo-kun." I hear her respond. I gasp and look up at her in shock. "R..Really" I ask her. "Yes... Really Kyo" she replies. I get so caught up in the moment, that I kiss her. Her lips are so soft and tender. But I quickly pull away and grab her hand and walk back to the house, muttering"You don't want to freeze to death out here do you"
