Sorry, I had to. Any readers of Towards the End I've hit a slump, a major-major slump and can't get rid of it. And, well, these drabbles have just been sitting here, begging to be posted.

I promise I'm trying to work the the next chapter, but until then, enjoy!

Cullen

It was when the world was burning that Cullen fell in love with her. Her smile had turn his thoughts hazy, but that wasn't love, not truly, not yet.

It was her grim acceptance, her will to save everyone some time to escape that had first ignited hos feelings. When hos and everyone else's world was threatening tp fall, it was thr Inquisitor who held it all together. Cullen never thought he could love someone who he hated so much.

Because he did. Hate her, that is. He hated her recklessness, her quiet rebellion. He hated how she endangered everybody -the whole world really, because what if she failed?- for her own selfish beliefs. He hated how easily she trusted, and just as easily fall. How she didn't have a care for her own safety, just the mission. Also the Maker-damned mission.

Her smile always drew him back, though,

She had smiled at him as she went to her grave, too.

He held onto her smile when the shakes started. He clung to it as the whispers sung of unopened doors.

He never understood why until the world was looking up at her, his Herald, his Inquisitor. It was only then he realized why he loved her.

So yeah, it"s short. Really, really short. But it's been a I romanced Cullen, and it didn't leave a big impression on me.

Next chapter, Blackwall!

Preview:

It was when she was walking away that Blackwall fell in love with her. It had started when she hadnt flinched as his shield was before her, saving her, and had only grown as she walked in front of him, confident in her ways.
