Walking into Remnant-Prologue
Plainswalking was usually a strait forward affair. You simply concentrate on a specific plain and let your spark guide you there. If you feel like having an adventure or need to get out of a bad situation quickly with no time to think, then all one has to do is trigger their spark an let it whisk them away. One however does not have an out of body experience whilst in the middle of plainswalking. But by some happenstance, this was the case for one Jace Beleren.
He had no body, no eyes to see, and no ears to hear. He was simply a consciousness drifting through the expanse of the multyverse, and a spark of fire tugging him onward. He wasn't sure how he knew but he could feel the relms that they were passing. Zendicar flew by, and he could feel Caladesh somewhere to the left. Innostrad zoomed away below him and his spark pulled him out of a collision course with Theros and past many other plains. Eventually they stopped in front of two plains. One seemed dark and shadowy with a few points of light shooting out here and there. The other looked peaceful, but a great feeling of anger was radiating from it. He could feel the presents of other sparks on that one, all crying out as if imprisoned.
From the shadowy plain he felt fear, sadness, anger, and a solom feeling that was hard to describe. But despite this, it felt safe, comforting calm and determined. Like it was saying 'I may have troubles but I'm not going to let that stop me from doing what I want.'
His spark was pulling him on again. Toward the plain of many sparks. Likely drawn there due to the shear number of them. 'I don't really want to go there'. Thought Jace. 'I just doesn't seem right.'
So with some mental effort Jace concentrated on his spark and forced it to move toward the more comforting plain. It fought at first, not used to changing course mid transit but eventually curved and carried Jace to the new plain. 'I hope this goes well'. Thought Jace as he slipped into unconsciousness, before touching down on the world of Remnant.
Hi everyone I hope you enjoyed. This idea has been floating around in my brain for a bit, and I thought 'why the heck not?' So here we are. Anyway this is just a prologue and a way to measure people's reaction. If people like it then i'll make another chapter. And go on from there. If not then it's going to remain as a Idea that anyone can snap up of they want. So please drop me a comment or PM me what you think.
Peace out: Belfire Arc
