-Phase 1-

:Part 1:

Ian Cook rubs his eyes lightly, leaning up in his bed. He glances around his room, the same, dull gray walls facing him back. An old alarm clock on his nightstand projects in green letters on its front: "11:37". He jumps out of his bed, hazel eyes wide awake now, taking a dash for desk and chair in the corner of his room by his closet, an old tower PC on his desk, screen lit with a flashing window on it.

He takes a quick sit in the old wooden chair, it creaking tiredly. He leans closer to the screen, his pals already swamping him in messages.

"Oh for f-..." he snaps his gaze onto the alarm clock, scolding, "Beep any softer, next time, eh?"

He turns his attention back to PalPosse, the arguably worst of the chat clients. It seems Elizabeth couldn't wait to start the game.

[11:42 AM] MasterChef: already? geez, you all arent waiting for anything...

[11:42 AM] MasterChef: snack time

[11:41 AM] (P)Elican: quickly

Ian stands up from his desk, taking a calm walk for his adjacent closet, keeping a store of emergency snacks in just in case of such an event. He starts to pick cylinders of chips and cans of cola at random, "This, and this, and this."

Satisfied with his selection of chips, ranging from plain to x'plosive chili pepper, and his choice of cola. Only one cola will satisfy such a thirst, Doctor Duke's Daring Energizer (or, as any person without the time to speak such an overwhelmingly long name, Purple Stuff. It's a tempting mix of grape and lime, carbonated to perfection.

He takes a seat back at his desk, continuing his conversation.

[11:44 AM] MasterChef: snack time complete

[11:45 AM] (P)Elican: yay! I'll get Kailey and Jake!

Ian tabs out of PalPosse, checking to make sure the game is installed.

"Sburb? What a dumb name. Better be good."
