Allie: Wrote this little fliclet in about thirty minutes before my botany class…turned out well.
Raye: Yeah I'm surprised.

Just This Once
"Hey Puck, have you ever wondered what it's like to kiss a dude?"
Puck almost dropped his game controller, "What the fuck man?" He asked, turning to Finn, his eyes wide. Finn kept his eyes on the screen, a flush creeping its way up his neck.
"I'm just saying dude. I wonder it it'd be any different from kissing a girl." Finn shrugged.
"Of course it would, you'd be kissing another guy."
"You think two girls kissing is hot. Why is that any different?"
"Cuz they're chicks and we're dudes." Puck replied, turning back to the game.
"Whatever man." Finn sighed.
An awkward silence fell over the room, louder than the game they were playing. They sat in silence for several minutes before Puck asked, "Do you wanna kiss a guy?"
"Puck dude just drop it." Finn replied.
"You're the one that brought it up." Puck grumbled.
"And now I'm dropping it."
Puck set down his game controller, "Shit man." He groaned.
"What?"
"Now you got me thinking about this shit."
"Me too." Finn decided, pausing the game.
Puck looked at Finn for a moment, "Would it ever leave this room?"
"Would what ever leave this room?" Finn asked.
"If we kissed!" Puck exclaimed.
"Dude keep your voice down!" Finn said, "And no…I guess, I mean…it'd be just this once wouldn't it?"
"Yeah, just this once." Puck replied.
They sat still for a moment before Finn looked over at Puck, "So…now?"
"Yeah dude just do it…" Puck mumbled, leaning closer to Finn.
Their lips met at the same instant. Rough, chapped lips pressed together awkwardly and hesitantly. They pulled back after half a second, staring at each other.
"Well," Puck cleared his throat, "My curiosity is satisfied."
"Yeah mine too." Finn replied, unpausing the game as Puck picked up his controller. As they continued on where they left off in the game both boys couldn't deny to themselves that they like the kiss. In fact, they wanted to do it again. Both wondered silently if that moment would truly be, "just this once".
Allie: Like I said, really short…but cute.
