So today my best firend and I were watching the sixth movie and got to the part where Ron tells Harry that the sorting hat asked them to be brave and strong in these troubled times. Then he says to Harry "That's easy for it to say it's a hat isn't it?"
Now I have heard him say this line at least fifty times, but today for the first time I started laughing and when Kasey asked why I just looked at her and said
ME: "Kasey didn't the hat get set on fire in the seventh book?" To which she responded
KASEY: "Yes, yes it did, but why is that funny?"
ME: "Do you think that it took its own advice and was strong and brave during his troubled time?"
(BTW the whole time I'm saying this it's in-between laugh's)
And as soon as I finish explaining it she starts laughing to and we laughed at it for a good half an hour.
So I wrote this because I just think it's kind of funny.
The sorting hat had just been set on fire. Ron could only think to say one thing. For he had remembered the words hat had said the last time that he was at school.
In a hushed voice he said with his eyes transfixed on the hat as it burned on Neville's head
"Be strong and brave in these troubled times." He said "Be strong and brave."
The End!
