Issei took a step back, and nearly choked on his wine, a fine Italian specialty. Rias' blue eyes glowed with hatred and anger as she stopped what she was doing. Akeno readied her lightning, while Koneko sighed as she got into a fighting stance. The reason was standing in the doorway, a sad and repentant look on her face. She was wearing faded clothes that contrasted her fine looks, and her purple eyes were swimming with tears. The other two girls also looked out of place as well, although Issei did not know them.

"Raynare? How are you still alive?" the brown-haired Dragon Emperor said as his eyes turned green and his Dividing Boosting Gear appeared. Raynare didn't say anything, she just hugged him and his clothes were stained with water as he contemplated on what to do. Should he kill her and her companions, or let her live? His emotions decided on death, when his logical side was whispering for her to live.

"What are you waiting on Issei, do something!"

Issei let out a long, sad sigh as he looked at the girl who had been his first girlfriend. She had been the reason why he was Rias' servant and a major player in messing up Asia's life. But reason slowly gained a hold. She hadn't meant to kill him, Kokabel had given the order and Diadora was also to blame. His yellow eyes met her purple ones. And a decision was made

"Amano Yuma, you have been a source of both pain and suffering to both me and the former nun known as Michiyo Fujiwara. You have also stepped into Fujiwara Asuka-buchou's territory without her permission. The penalty for these sins by the law of us mages is death,"

Raynare was about to cry harder when he spoke again.

"However, I am still human in many ways and as Kokabel altered your orders, you will live, as well as your companions. However Asuka-kun and Hijeruma-sama seem to be very distrusting of you, so certain measures will be taken to ensure you do not betray me or the others. Now, would you kindly come inside? It's very cold, and pretty ladies shouldn't be out so late,"

Rias was about to rebut him but realized her pawn wasn't so dense and ecchi minded after all. ( I'm using Issei from the original HSDXD light novels, not the anime version as that guy is a perverted prick and jackass. The smartness and tactician mind stay, however.)
