Hanna turned her red eyes to study Caleb's face. His closed eyes and mouth, the way he breathed with the help of a machine. His hands were wired to diferent stuff.

She sat down next to his bed, her hand squeezing his, unable to let go. Everybody told her to be strong and to have faith that everything would be fine. But did they not know that caleb was the one that gave her strength?

He was the one that made Hanna not give in to the pressures of what being targeted by A really meant. Tears once more spilled from Hanna's eyes as she set her head on their hands praying.

She should've known something like this would happen. Why? Just why did she ever believe that she could hide getting back together with Caleb. In the end she had done nothing but put him into even more danger than before.

How could she be so stupid? Had she learned nothing from her experiences with A? Hanna had no right to put Caleb go through that mess. Why did she ever agree to let him help her again?

There was no comfort for her pain. She was the reason why he was hurt. Why he laid in this hospital bed fighting for his life. But it would get better. Hanna decided she would do everything she could to protect him from harm if he woke up.

She would find a way to fix things for them. She would not give up on him. Hanna felt her eyes close as she finally fell asleep her hand and head near to Caleb's hand. She fel asleep to the machines' constant beeping and she woke up to Caleb caressing her hair slowly.

Seeing him look at her, Hanna's eyes filed with tears once more as she could've sworn she had never seen anything better before. Raising herself from her position she ignored her aching muscles and pressed her lips to Caleb's

-"You are not allowed to scare me like this again, understood? I will loose it ccompletely if you're not here to keep me together and stop me from doing stupid things."

-"You've got yourself a deal. Come here and give a proper kis will you?"

As Hanna did so, her determination to win this battle against A kicked in. For now she just settled for cuddling against Caleb's body and be happy they had managed to get over this experience as well.

Liss, I think they would skip camping for that next year.

Anon I try to keep them coming

Ellaaaa thanks for the review.

Now you may have noticed that I try to keep my stories related to season 4 and onward, so this particular ficlet has been a challenge because I don't usually write stuff about seasons 1-3. However tomorrow I'm going to go a little further down this road and approach "The Jenna Thing " a little. Wish me luck.
