The War of the Medallions
Prologue
Rain poured on a lonely figure walking in the middle of Hyrule Field. If he could just get the last medallion hidden no one would ever know it even existed. His black cloak blew in the wind. Under the cloak to bright green eyes could be seen. This last medallion was the most important to hide, it was a dark purple color and had a strange symbol on it. He was almost to Kakariko Village, he would bring it to a special tomb in the graveyard, and the power of this medallion would never be used. As he neared the entrance a feeling washed over this man. Quickly he pulled out a throwing dagger and threw it behind his back; a plunk was heard as it hit the thing's head. He turned around and saw several shadow creatures behind him. They looked at their friend for a second then they attacked. They were shadow like creatures with red eyes; they had come to destroy him. The cloaked man pulled out a long dagger and jumped at the creatures, for they were not even men. He slashed at one, and down he went. Then he threw the dagger at another and he sunk into his chest. The man had many weapons in his cloak. He pulled out a small bomb and threw it, it hit one and exploded taking down another one. There were four left, he could take them. He stuck out his left arm, and with his right pushed a button on the top. A spiked ball flew out and took out two. Then he pressed another one and the ball came back. The man pulled out a shield and hit the third one hard. That one fell to the ground, now it was only him and that one creature.
"Give it up, the Shadow King knows you have it," the one said. The cloaked man ran, but the shadow creature was faster and caught up and stepped on his robe. The robe slipped off. The man underneath was like the creatures, except for his eyes, which were green instead of red.
"Landolor, don't do this we've been friends since we were little, join me on the good side and help me defeat the Shadow King," the man said.
"Oh Maxus, its too late for you, talking won't help you now, you're dead," Landolor replied. Maxis had to do something, if this medallion was put into the wrong hands, it could be used to cause much destruction. Maxis suddenly started uttering a spell.
"What are you doing, just give up its too late," Landolor demanded. The medallion came off of Maxus's neck and began to glow. It flew up into the air.
"NO!" yelled Landolor. He jumped for the medallion, but it was too late, the medallion was gone. Landolor looked at Maxus,
"You have ruined all we have worked for!" Landolor screamed. Maxus wasn't paying attention. He was muttering something again.
"NOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING, I'M GOING TO DESTROY YOU!" Landolor yelled. He pulled out a long sword and jumped at Maxus. Maxus was done with the spell and his life. The spell he had just done had hidden the other 8 medallions, because they had been with the Army of the Shadow King, but now were each hidden in on the worlds. World jumping was complicated, but if someone could figure it out they could get all of them and destroy the Shadow King once and for all, but the purple medallion could have been transported anywhere, and that medallion just happened to be transported to a small suburb in Arizona.
