Toon Link's P.O.V.

Only me, alone. I sighed, rolling over in my messy bed. I had no one else from my game here, except for Tingle, and he's an assist trophy... I had no one to laugh about Godhan, arrows flying out of his nostrils. I had no one to giggle about Salvatore's cardboard cutouts and his strange sound effects. I had no one to-

RAP TAP TAP. The sound came from the door. I got up sluggishly, rubbing my eyes and stretching. Opening the door, I found out it was a certain red-capped boy by the name of Ness. I thought no one wanted to talk to me...?

"Hey," I said weakly, "I thought I was a stand-alone Smasher, why are you here?"

"Because I used to be alone, too," Ness awnsered, "Alone for two whole tournaments."

I was shocked. I thought he always had Lucas by his side. ...Now I know it's not only me.
