Disclaimer: We all know I don't own Glee, because if I did the whole thing would just be Finchel-y fluff.
~Rachel~
Rachel had no idea how much love could hurt. She loved Finn, and hated herself for causing this whole ordeal. It was all her fault, and she couldn't live with herself for that.
She knew she had to fix this, she just had no idea how. Suddenly, something that Ms. Pillsbury had said popped into her mind. "You guys are both in Glee, so why don't you sing about it?" That was it! She could sing to him! It was almost Christmas, so she could sing a Christmas song. Too bad she didn't know that many Christmas songs⦠she knew a handful of Chanukah songs, but Finn probably didn't give a damn about Chanukah.
She grabbed her pink, bedazzled laptop off of her beside table and tossed the slightly damp pillow she had been crying into on the floor.
She determinedly typed something into the Google search bar. She scrolled through who-knows-how-many song lyrics until she found something fitting the situation. She scribbled the lyrics onto a piece of paper and walked out the door.
Rachel stumbled out of her red Volvo hybrid when she got to the Hudson-Hummel house. She walked around to the back of the house where Finn's second story window was. She noticed that the only cars in the driveway were Finn's and Kurt's, which she was elated about because this could be potentially embarrassing.
She swallowed and started to sing.
~Finn~
Finn glanced out his window and rolled out of bed. He thought he had heard Rachel's voice, and was almost happy when he saw her out the window.
Merry Christmas, darling
We're apart that's true
But I can dream and in my dream
I'm Christmas-ing with you
~Rachel~
Rachel wondered if this was actually going to work, or if this was just another lost cause like everything else.
She was slightly relieved when she saw his large shape emerge from the house.
I've just one wish to make
On this Christmas Eve
I wish I were with you
I wish I were with you
She felt a single tear run down her cheek as the song ended.
"I'm so sorry, Finn. It is killing me,, knowing that I hurt you like this. I love you so much," she sobbed.
"Turn around," Finn commanded her.
She gave him an odd look for his request, but obliged. She felt cold metal on her neck. She looked down and saw gold.
"Where did you find it?" she asked through tears.
"In the trash can in the choir room. I don't know what I was going to do with it, but I'm glad I grabbed it," he told her.
"Does this mean-" she began, but was cut off by Finn lifting her up for a kiss.
"I love you so much, Finn," she murmured through the kiss.
"I love you too, Rach."
A/N: In case you didn't know, The necklace he put on her was her Finn necklace. I tried to make it obvious, but I don't know.
