Yep, still don't like this prompt. In Borra Month I followed the crime aspect, but here I used the team aspect. In particular, I wrote TaskForce!Korrlok, where they are partners in crime in... reducing crime?

Considering what Korra's attitude toward the Task Force had been initially, he had to smile at the way she threw herself into it now. She loved combat, there was no denying that. It must be a delight to be able to give herself over to this, especially compared to the sterile, constrained bending of the arena. Her skill was mesmerizing, and several times he found himself getting distracted from his own battles because he was watching her. Whenever he caught a glimpse of the feral grin on her face, he could feel his heart beat faster.

The best, though, was when they got to fight as a team. From the first, their styles had blended seamlessly. He'd been a little nervous about that. It was one thing to fight next to a firebender, a waterbender, or an earthbender, but how did you adjust to someone who used all three? It had been beautiful, though. She flowed smoothly through the three elements, weaving her bending around his. She adapted instantly to anything he did without the need for words. He knew that a sure sign of unskilled bending was a reluctance to abandon the simple taught forms, but he doubted she'd ever had that problem. She improvised as fast as a thought, and if anything he hoped that he was keeping up with her.

He'd never be able to say it to her face, but he hoped that she'd continue working with him. Just look what they had been able to do in a few short weeks! For the first time since the Equalists had emerged as a force to be dealt with, the city was making tangible progress in suppressing the movement. They were making progress. He'd never worked beside someone like her before and it was an exhilarating experience. It would be a shame for it to end anytime soon. When they stood back to back and he knew she was guarding him just as he guarded her... it was something he was reluctant to ever surrender.
