A/N - this is a one shot, Eli and Clare meeting.
Clare stared up at the moon the light giving her pale skin a glow. Her blue eyes looked magical, indescribable, tonight. She loves nights like this, were she could sit back near her favorite lake in the middle of the woods, the lake had been abandoned, for a good ten years not once had she saw a soul walk around here, she started to come here more when her parents stared to fight especially at night, when her father was home and the fighting was unstoppable. She used to. Love her family, and deep down she still did but how could she call it a family anymore? Sometimes she wondered how she felt her parents had forgotten about her, leaving her to fend for her own. Her friends had moved on to bigger and better things , that's just how life was , people act like they love you and then they abandon you it makes no sense , but then again nothing does .
"hello." a silky voice said.
"hi." she said looking at the boy. His skin was pale almost as pale as Hers his bright green eyes took her breath away , he dressed in all black and the Color suited him ... Well.
"what are you doing out here so late?" he asked, in a smooth voice that left her speechless.
"I could ask you the same thing." she said keeping her confidence.
He arched an eyebrow. "Well if you need to know, my parents they don't understand I'm different sometimes I wish they would just leave me alone." he said sadly.
She laughed without humor. "you'd like mine then they completely forgot about Me." she said dully.
"Well we've got each other." he said.
She smiled. "We barely even know each other though."
He pulled her up by her hand. " we just met, were under the moon, the moon brought us together."
" yes." she Said with a happy smile for the first time. "we met ... under the moon."
