Keep Your Friends Close, Your Enemies Blah Blah

Needless to say, the demon was worried. Although it was a known fact that the King of Hell was more lenient when it came to punishments (he didn't try to hide his favorites), it was also known that he still hated most of demon kind, despite he himself being a demon.

Hesitantly, she knocked on his office door in Hell, the Blue Danube Waltz playing on the speakers in the main hall.

"Yeah, come in," the demon heard from the room. She slowly opened the door and walked in. Crowley was sitting at his desk, looking over a contract and complaining under his breath that he needed to find a secretary.

"Ah, Leila, come in." She slowly walked over to his desk and sat down. Crowley opened a drawer and pulled a bottle of Craig from it. Pouring a drink for himself, he began to explain to her why she was there.

Well, as much as the King of Hell did explain what he wanted done. It seemed that Crowley had trust issues, as he would only tell his minions what they absolutely needed to know. He liked to keep them in the dark, in case there were still a few Lucifer loyalists crawling around in Hell's gutters.

"Your job is to possess someone. Do it in their sleep, and act like them. I'll inform you of when the job is done." The demon nodded.

"Yes sir."

"Sam! What about this one?" The hotel room they'd been renting together was beginning to really fall apart, and the younger (now only) Winchester had fixed everything at least twice.

He sat back from fixing the pipes so he could take a look at the real estate Amelia was so excited about. Two bedrooms, plenty of yard space, and he'd always loved Texas.

Of course, it wasn't really Amelia he was talking to. Amelia hadn't talked in weeks. The demon that had possessed her made sure of it. Sure, she was still alive, trapped in her own mind, only there in case the demon needed more personal information.

The great Sam Winchester hadn't even noticed a difference. But it didn't matter. The demon was sleeping in the same house as the great Sam Winchester. Lucifer's vessel. The boy who drank demon blood. Sam Winchester was the thing that monsters were afraid of. The Winchesters were common antagonists in bedtime stories that monsters told their children. Be careful, cover up your kills. Otherwise the Winchesters will find you.

The demon had even found out Crowley's ulterior motive. Even though Sam was without his brother and their angel, Crowley wanted to keep an eye on the remaining Winchester. He'd seen what happened to those who underestimated them, and dying wasn't a part of his plan.

But, if the demon disobeyed her orders, she would feel the King of Hell's wrath. She'd be punished more than Guy the Crossroads demon, who'd ended his deals ten years before scheduled. Crowley didn't have a good side, but you certainly didn't want to be on his bad side.

Needless to say, the demon was worried.

If there's any mistakes I apologize. Last week I promised myself I'd write this before Supernatural came back, and tonight I suddenly realized that's tomorrow.

This is basically what I thought was going to happen in the mid-season finale (well not really. I just expected that Crowley would have kidnapped Amelia, since that's what happened to Lisa and it's only a matter of time before Crowley does the same with Amelia).

I don't own Supernatural. And I did check the song that plays in 6x20 when Crowley and Cas are in Hell, and it is in fact the Blue Danube Waltz :)
