My Hero
I've been lost in the dark for so long
That I can't remember anything anymore
Pictures running through my mind
As I lay broken on the floor
Shattered, I need a hero
Come save me from my dreams
Where all I can see is the tears
Alongside the endless screams

Just to hold me through the night
Just smile and hold me close
Make everything all right

Please whisper my fears away

Behind this emotionless mask I portray
Save me from the darkness
Take me far away from here
From these emotions I can't recall
And the memories that disappear
I want to remember how to smile
I long to laugh once more
I've waited to feel the happiness
That I knew once before
And as you take me in your arms

For saving my soul from emptiness
Before it got any colder
Bring me to a starlit sky
I'll make new images in my mind
Connect the dots to make a picture
