A gift for a friend!
Hi, everyone!
My name's Emma Rowena Gilbert. Since I returned home to the Goald Coast three years ago I've become friends with Bella, the girl who sort of took my place while I was away.
She's actually really cool and I can see why Cleo and Rikki get along so well with her.
The crystals from Mako Island that Cleo Rikki and Bella used for those necklaces while I was gone are dangerous ( Thanks to Lewis for discovering that ) so as a way to really make Bella a member of our little group of mermaid-chicks I've made her a special gift.
It's a locket, jusy like the ones that me, Cleo and Rikki wear. It has a neon-green stone.
So far nobody knows that I'm gonna give the new fourth mermaid-locket to Bella today. Not even Rikki and Cleo. I want all of them to be surprised.
Rikki almost blew the whole surprise yesterday when I ran into her on my way home after picking the new locket up at the local jewellery-store. Fortunately Rikki didn't find out.
The new locket had to be custom-made. I had to pay almost 8 big ones, but I hope it's worth it.
I look forward to seeing Bella's smile as I give her the locket. She'll be happy, I'm sure. If she won't I'll be totally surprised.
Now I put the locket in my handbag and put on my shoes and head to Cleo's house for tonight's movie-night with all the mermaids and our men.
We all hang out as much as possible. Cleo and Lewis. Rikki and Zane. Bella and Dave. Me and Chris.
At first it was weird to have Bella as one of the mermaids, but now that I've known her for these past 3 years I really like her. She's a good friend and a cool young lady.
Can't help feelin' a bit nervous. I don't think Rikki and Cleo are gonna be mad at me for givin' Bella her own locket or anything. I really don't understand why I'm so freakin' nervous right now. Come on, Emma! Snap out of it!
Wow! I'm talking to myself...

Speakin' of Rikki...
She's a good friend. Even though we sometimes won't agree on things we're still friends and I know that she feel this way too.
My best friend is Cleo. This was true even before the whole mermaid-thing began. Actually I didn't even know Rikki before that.
Me, Rikki, Cleo and Bella are all different, but we also function really well together as a group.
Our circle is now complete. We're four mermaids. Each one of us have a boyfriend who know our secret and love us no matter what.
Things are the way we want them to be. Life is good!
