Catwoman was standing on a pier off the Gotham City docks. She was waiting for a yacht that was going to take her away.

While waiting, she was confronted-by Robin!

"All right, Catwoman, you're coming with me!"

She smiled. "Robin! And where's your better half?"

"He went to capture your partner the Claw."

"And he left you to deal with me, eh? Well, you know what cats do to birds, don't you? They eat them alive!"

"Not this bird!"

"Think you're man enough to deal with me?"

"I think so."

"Well, let's see!"

They began kung fu fighting. Despite her concerns, he was quite able to defend himself against her. However, she made a right move, and he made a wrong move; he ran to grab her, she pulled away, and he plunged over the side 15 feet down into the water!

She walked over to the edge to look for him. It took a while, but she at last spotted him. He was apparently floundering in the water; he was drowning.

"Damn!"

She dove into the water. Then she swam over to him. She grabbed him and carried him.

"(cough) I'm all right."

"Stop being macho, Robin!"

The edge had a shear wall. However, they swam to the left side and they eventually found a gangplank. They climbed up it and relaxed at the top. Fortunately, it was night, so no one was around. While resting, they took their water-filled boots and socks off.

"Thanks, Catwoman."

"Don't mention it-to anyone!"

"I guess I'm NOT man enough to fight you!"

"You're pretty good. Not as good as your partner."

"And now, the question is, what happens next?"

"I could leave this moment."

He quickly grabbed her boots. "Barefooted?"

She also grabbed his boots. "How about you?"

They both smiled.

"I guess we're stalemated!"

"That's right, Robin."

Suddenly, he gave her back her boots. "Go!"

"Go?"

"I'll get crap from Batman, I know. But you saved my like, that's more than enough payment. Besides, it's the Claw we're mainly after. He's a murdered, and you're not-as far as we know."

She began to put her socks and boots back on. "The Claw and I were going to escape to Brazil together. But since he's been caught, I'll stay around for a while. I don't like him much, anyway; he's an SOB. Oh, and here's a little gift for you."

She took something out of a small pocket in her left boot and gave it to him. It was a 1 ½-caret diamond ring.

"Got any more stuff on you?"

"Want to hunt for it?"

"That sounds fun-but I won't! By the way, did you notice that your shirt is very transparent, wet?"

She looked at it. "And do you like what you see?" He smiled, and so did she. "Next time we meet, I'll get it wet, again!"

"All right!"

Then she get up. "But you'll have to see me later, because I'm now gone! Goodbye, Robin. We'll probably see each other again pretty soon." She ran off.

He rest a bit longer. Then he put his boots on and left.

He eventually confessed the whole story to Batman. Batman was a little displease, but forgave Robin-especially when he gave him the ring she gave him.
